Hi! I’m Pippa, a thirtysomething fat woman on a journey to an entirely handmade wardrobe. I live in London with my partner and our adorable cat, Evie, and I make garments for myself and (sometimes) my partner. I predominantly sew and knit, but I’d love to take up shoe and bag making too. One day!
I started this blog to record my projects and reflect on lessons learned for the future. I find Instagram and other social media can sometimes show a distorted view of sewing, with only perfect makes shared and no mention of fitting issues or adjustments. My goal is to be honest about what goes into creating a (hopefully) well-fitting and well-made garment.
